In response to dynamic marketplace conditions, Select Holiday Resorts remains committed to ensuring our guests experience flexibility during these challenging times.
So you have something to look forward to when travel restrictions are lifted, why not email us directly to amend the dates on your existing booking on email@example.com. Deposits paid to date will be credited to your new reservation. Alternatively, should you wish to defer your booking, we are happy to provide you with a voucher which can be redeemed against any future booking, valid until June 30th 2021.
For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with prepaid rates, between now and June 30th 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed – at no charge – up to five working days before your scheduled arrival date. Please note changes to the reservation will be subject to availability.

Monday 16th March – 17:00 UPDATE:
COVID-19 Updated Booking Terms
Given the impact of COVID-19 on how we work, socialise and travel, we have been adapting our cancellation policy to the evolving nature of this epidemic.
We have updated our policy to provide our customers flexibility during these challenging times. For guests with existing reservations due to check-in up to the 30th of April 2020, including reservations with restrictive terms and usually pre-paid rates, we will allow changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival.
For guests making new individual reservations between today and 30th of April 2020, we will allow those reservations to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before a guest’s scheduled arrival date.
Sunday 15th March – 08:00 UPDATE:
The UK Foreign Office has now advised against all travel to Spain. www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain
Therefore, unfortunately if you have an upcoming reservation for one of Select Holiday Resorts Spanish (including Canary Islands) resorts, March bookings will have to be cancelled, pending further regional government advice.
Guests who are currently staying at Select resorts will maintain their accommodation bookings until their return flights depart. Please check with your airline for further information on any flight schedule changes.
Guests in Spain should follow our previous advice on this page and remain on resort until their departure. There are government restrictions in place and your Select resorts are exempt from some of these restrictions. This therefore allows us to continue to deliver services to ensure guests comfort until departure.
Additional safety protocols are being implemented regarding guest numbers in certain locations. As with our previous announcements on more robust hygiene schedules, this is aimed to protect both guests and our team members, all of whom remain our first priority at all times.

Saturday 14th March – 22:00 UPDATE:
Select Holiday Resorts has been informed by the Spanish government that certain commercial activities are to be temporarily suspended. Retail stores, bars, restaurants and cafeterias are closed although supermarkets and stores selling food and drink will operate as normal as will chemists, opticians and certain other establishments deemed as essential.
Public gatherings on beaches and parks are banned and if you are outside the resorts this should only be for essential reasons such as grocery shopping or trips to the chemists and other establishments that remain open.
Guests should remain on-resort unless they are making these specific essential journeys and be guided by reception staff as the situation becomes clearer.

Select Holiday Resorts will update this information again tomorrow as soon as further clarification is provided by the authorities.
If you have a flight scheduled for tomorrow please check with your airline as usual, with the possible exception of Jet2 flights, the current information is that airlines will be operating.
We will release another update at 3pm GMT tomorrow (Sunday).

Select Holiday Resorts is awaiting further announcements which have been delayed, from both regional governments and from airlines such as Jet2 and other operators.
Please be assured that we are doing as much as possible to provide guests with the most up to date official information.
